We're finally seeing just how ridiculous having power over light is. Powerscalers have said "they have lightspeed reaction time this, lightspeed movement that," but the truth is the fastest anyone goes in the One Piece universe has gone is the speed of sound and above, with Kaido being a good example. Other than that Lightspeed is so staggeringly impossible that the only way to match it is to have power over imagination.

For the people asking why Kizaru easily beat Gear 4 here:
Luffy wasn’t using ACoC here, no black lightning while in Snakeman, no clashes between them powerful enough to split the skies and no Golden Aura which is Luffy’s ACoC which is seen vs Kaido. We don’t even see him use ACoA as his punches made contact with Kizaru. Reminders that ACoC and Gear 4 can be used at the same time or separately.
Why isn’t he using ACoC? My guess is he’s saving his energy for Gear 5. Which is constantly coated by ACoC. Due to Gear 5’s draining nature, he will need to save his energy for it.
People out here forgetting how strong the admirals is

It's a bit annoying because it seems like even after defeating Kaido Luffy's level is still below the Admirals. Then he even had to use Gear Fifth mode to fight Rob Luccy.

What good is snake man, a speed technique, to a literal man made of light. His senses are probably light speed as well. Reflexes too. White star gun only hit because luffy’s attacks while in gear 5 are so unpredictable and often ricochet/counter on it’s own.
Snakeman should always be infused with Haki. So why doesn't Kizaru react at all when Luffy goes for his Black Mamba?
