Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is based on the manga series by Koyoharu Gotoge published under SHUEISHA’s JUMP COMICS, which consists of 23 volumes and over 150 million copies in publication. The animation production is by ufotable.
The story begins when Tanjiro Kamado, a boy whose family is killed by a demon, joins the Demon Slayer Corps to turn his younger sister Nezuko back into a human after she is transformed into a demon. In April 2019, the TV anime series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba first premiered with the Tanjiro Kamado, Unwavering Resolve Arc, followed by the release of the feature film Mugen Train in October 2020, and the TV series Mugen Train Arc and Entertainment District Arc from 2021 through 2022.
Starting in February 2023, the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -To the Swordsmith Village- World Tour kicked off, followed by the TV adaptation of the Swordsmith Village Arc airing and streaming in April. In February 2024, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -To the Hashira Training- was released in movie theaters worldwide featuring a special theatrical screening in over 145 countries and regions – surpassing the previous year’s release. The TV series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Hashira Training Arc was broadcast and streamed online in May.
The production of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle is confirmed to arrive in movie theatres as a trilogy.
The series has captivated audiences worldwide with its tragic tale of humans and demons, riveting sword fights, charming characters, and comical scenes.

There is a trailer floating around that is suggesting this will come out with real actors and not in anime format. That would truly be disappointing to me. I think some may embrace this but it literally removes the entire characters personality with the idea the actor can emulate them. It never turns out well. Anyone here know about that or the month they plan to release this?

Demon slayer really mastered the art of combining realism and cartoons together. It’s always just so high quality and doesn’t change the style too much when fighting so it doesn’t even feel like an anime. It’s very unique and it sure does look good. I love JJK and I’m interested in how it’d look with this type of quality.

Movie 1:They revealed what chapters for the first movie. It ends with Giyu and Tanjiro slaying Akaza. So that means the movie will begin with Shinobu vs Doma. Then Zenitsu vs the new Upper 6 (which is very short), maybe at some point the beginning of the fight between Shinobu, Kanao and Inosuke vs Doma. The largest portion of the film will be Tanjiro and Giyu’s fight.
Movie 2: This means besides the beginning being the death of Doma Upper Rank 2, the majority of the film will be the battle between Kokushibo vs Gyomei, Sanemi, Muchiro and Genya. It will end with Obanai and Mitsuri’s fight.
Movie 3: This means the sunrise countdown arc will begin adapted into a final film, with the remaining corp members such as the last Hashira standing and Kamaboko squad. It will likely be hour film instead of 2 hour film, for a satisfying conclusion.😅😊😮😢🎉❤
